Default Re: able skills

Hi sranners, welcome to the forums. I did a 4 week course and then went straight into the trade professionally. Just coming up to my 1st year end so it can be done quite easily and many people have done it.

The hand skills required is the big thing when you are learning. Some people pick it up straight away some take a little longer. Knowledge and skills in tiling is not the most important thing though for going it alone, you need to have a business mind first and for most. You can be the best tiler on the planet but if you don't find and reach your customers you are not going to make any money.

I can't comment on "Able Skills" as a trainer cos I didn't train with them but there is plenty of feedback on the forums to give you info. Further to this, if you plough your way through the thousands of posts on here you will give yourself an excellent groundbase of knowledge before you train.

It is possible that no-one on the forums has trained with the Able Skills so that is why there is no feed back on here.

Good luck, keep us up to date on your progress.
