Smile Re: Your success stories

on a serious note ive had a difficult start into tiling i started as an apprentice 4 years ago and ive been working for a few firms which i wouldnt imagine i thought i would have been settled there for years to come due to shortage of work once i finished my apprenticeship then the firm laid all the apprentices off so i have been sub contracting to a few firms around the north west obviously ive made some mistakes along the way and the reason im going alone is because of tiling firms not taking on tilers anymore and with all these poles and course tilers coming in (jokin) I want to try and gain a valuable reputation now im still living at home so i dont have any bills to pay really so im prepared to stick at it and hopefully work will come. i feel for the guys on here who havea had a tough time with work recentley especially with bills to pay
