Default Do I need to PVA newly painted plaster/plasterboard?

Tiling a kitchen, above the work surface is new plastered plastered board (gypsum based) that has been freshly painted with soft sheen emulsion over 70% of the area to be tiled. The remaining 30% is just unpainted new plaster.

Do I need to PVA it all>?
