Default Re: Drill life

At 365drills we live (or die) by the quality of our kits.

Right at the heart of all the marketing is the life span of our drills. We dumb down our claims so installers are suprised at how good our product is.

We are constantly looking at drill quality and that includes the look and presentation. For example we experimented with branded drills.

I could dress them up all fancy. Lazer etch our logo (as we did above) but all that puff and show just adds costs on to you.

So we drive costs down. We keep the quality up and that way we can produce a kit for £50.

Its not up to me to say if the quality is good / bad. Leave that up to the paying public. What I can say is that in nearly ONE THOUSAND e-bay sales the ONLY person to complain did so with justifiable reasons. If you want to see what his complaint was click this link but I can assure you it wasnt about the quality of the drills !

Be a bit careful about some cheap imports from China. We can PROVE we dont use child labour. Can prove we dont use conflict diamonds. And can prove we have product liability insurance plus all the other stuff that goes with being an ethical trader. Plus we have reams of credible feedback from tilers, plumbers and installers globally. Even the French are nice to us.

We dont compare ourselves against foreign suppliers but we do keep an eye on UK suppliers such as Screwfix-direct to make sure we price match and are competative.

For example screwfix sell a single diamond drill for £9.99 (8mm) but without a drill plate. [Direct comparison link here]

We sell a pack of four 8mm with a drill plate for £29.99.

Hope that explains. Bottom line for us is we have a competative product range priced between £30 and £50 which we price check against UK competion but are aware that there are other sellers in the global market.

365drills are the best in the world... [But I would say that wouldnt I] !!!!!!
