Default Bottom Half or Fully Tile En-suite. Which option?

So that is the question - which is in vogue? Is painting the top half still done?

It is yes.. so IMO it is down to personal taste.

i would go for fully tiled much better finish and stops the paint going moldy at the top with the condensation!

i would go with fully tiled also. but as already stated it is a personal choice and if this is your own ensuite make sure that you decide as you will have to live with it.

my en suite has the shower cubicle tiled fully (which is ressessed), then the bottom half of the wall where the sink is, and the bottom half of the toilet wall, the other walls are completley untiled. I think it looks good this way. You can change the general look of the room by painting the walls as well, instead of having to retile.

If you leave the top half painted at least you can change the colour of the room when the time comes. Use proper bathroom paint and it shouldnt go mouldy

Tile the lot, more business for the tile shops and more money for the fixer.
