    Default finding out how many metres a job is?

    I have just measured a bathroom for a friend am new to this and most jobs i have done the tiles adhesive etc have already been there so i have had no need to work out what i need tiles wise adhesive wise or had to measure how many metres were in the job i would be grateful if someone would help me i am going to put the measurements i have just got and was wondering weather someone would help me out to find how many metres were in the job.:window side 89inches high 88 inches wide/ sink side 57inches wide 88 inches high/ radiator wall 43inches wide 88high/shower wall 58 wide 88 high/and side betwwen door and sink side 20inches wide 88 high help!!!!!!!!

    that is almost 14m2,i would get 16m2 to cover cuts and breakages!

    and a calculator and start measuring in metric

    my QS fee is in the post......lol

    Take each wall in turn, measure the length and measure the height. Multiply these 2 numbers together gives you how many square metres that wall is. Do the same with each of the walls and then add all your figures together to get a total square metres. I would just ignore windows for working this out as, although the area to be tiled will be smaller with a window in it, it will take you just as long to do it with all your reveal cuts, trim etc.

    the measurements you give come to 15.15m2. you dont say if you have left the window in the measurements etc.

    Hillhead still uses inches and feet for measuring,lol.
    i work on yard prices but i can convert easily for yards to mtrs and vice versa!
    multiples of .8391 and 1.196
