    bit ov advice needed, natural stone border (mosaic) seal before or after application

    if you are doing a diy job i would suggest sealing before applying to the wall and before and after grouting,if not just before and after grouting

    remember to only seal the face of the tiles

    i find it easier to seal the tiles before installation. i find that it keeps the border cleaner while fitting and easier to seal them flat rather than on the wall.

    I agree if diy it will cut down on any probs for you.

    Mattymatt - Stone seal first - then fix - grout - clean - allow to dry - seal again.
    Remember with stone mosaics to check the thickness as per field tiles.
    With a border you should peg the joint to the field tiles to stop them slipping as the mesh can loosen when wet with adhesive.
    Its worth getting fast set adhesive to use for this border area.
