I would always recommend once you've done a course to buying low cost tools, advertise a bit and do what work comes your way on your days off, thats if you have a full time job anyway, then build up a rep, then think about tiling full time when you are knocking back job after job cos you can't do it for 3 months or so.

Never think, do course, jack in full time job, wait for phone to ring, cos some have done this and failed quickly.
