As an addition to my earlier post, my main level is an AMI level from Australia. Only one that I have found that is as accurate upside down as it is the right way up - 0.5mm/mtr.

I have a 1000mm and a 400mm. Just bought a Wickes 1.8mtr cheapo for checking gaps over longer distances.
