Default Re: slanted notch trowels

orite devonmark, firstly the wearability of the trowel is similar to most, however were the trowel comes into its own is when you use it on top of heated flooring,if applied correctly it leaves very few air chambers under the the tile, thus allowing the even distrubution, speed and longevity of of the heat(no air pockets to warm)however if the floor is not completely flat, they are considerably more work than a half moon and a good rubber hammer.it has its uses and i wouldnt right it off as a gimmick,if its less than 20 quid with a tidy handle then its probably worth having it...........personaly..........i dont like them................good luck...........chris
