It's sound and you can certanly get work from doing a short course. Obviousy there's lots to practise and you'll still be learning when you've been doing the job for years, as would someboy who's done a
NVQ but it's a good step to make. You can still do your
NVQ after the course via OSAT too should you get requests for site-work and you fancy giving it a go.
