Unhappy Patchy Grout problems - HELP!

Hi guys,

Finished grouting a room four days ago and it has dried patchy - very dark in places and almost white in others. From what I have read on here, this has happened to others with Granfix Ultimate Flex Grey grout.

I have read all the advice and I think I know WHY it went wrong...

However, my question is what can I do to sort it? Scraping out and regrouting is really not an option.

I tried cleaning and when wet, the whole floor looks mint. I thought about using something to keep it looking wet? Something that will penetrate rather than sitting on the surface. Any ideas or does this sound silly?

Any suggestions appreciated...
