 Un level floors | |
Hi guys, got a job today. Kitchen floor, using ceramic in brick bond. The floor now is made of very old, incredibly solid sandstone. The other thing is the floor slopes slightly at different points.
If any one can help with these queries it would be great.
1) how do a level the floor up? Do i just use SLC? What if i need to get it to about 2cm thick to even out the floor?
2) Do i need to treat the sandstone before I put SLC down? If that is indeed the best way to get the floor level?
3) If i use SLC do i need to prime it with APD before i put the rapid set on?
Can you use a thicker bed of SLC than 6 mm? IF so, how?
I know there is a lot there but any help would be appreciated.
