Tiesafe primer is what they supply and that is what you must use to meet their warranty requirements. I have used it before with no problems.
You will need the corners fitted 1st, You will need the tilesafe membrane on roll which is laid along the floor and up the wall and then lay the main floor. Alll joints overlaid with jointing tape and the supplied silicione type stuff (NOT SILICONE SEALANT, as this will destroy the membrane). The putty is used around any pipes you should have protruding through the membrane and then tape around the hole.
It sounds as you dont have a full kit.
