Set a piece of lath on the wall ether side of the step at the required distance for the riser. Apply semi dry screed and rule of to the lath. Mix a wet slurry of neat cement and brush it on the back of the tile then fix the tile to the semi dry screed this will give a solid bed and a strong step |
