Hi,I haven't been on the site for a while,did training at NETT last year got my 1st job doing a bathroom straight away which came out really well even though i was very nervous because customer was wanting plain,patterned,border and mozaic tiles, a few enquiries then lost a bit of momentum and did some work on my own house. Now I'm back to try and pick up where I left off and was just wanting to check some info for my next job since i'm a bit rusty
1. 4 inch tiles (3 diff colours) would you use 2mm or 5mm spacers?
2. on painted wall some of which is pealing so will probably scrape of and then score the wall.
3. I will use tub stuff and then do you think white flexi grout would look best or a different colour ?
4. customer doesn't want trim so edges of tile will be visible so if I use white grout should I use white adhesive and scape back adhesive around edge slightly and then go over with grout to finish is that the best way to get good finish or would you just let adh. be seen after tidying wlth damp sponge.
