1. If the concrete is solid, take a thin uncoupling matting to cover the crack and for saftey reasons. I think wetdecs will have something for this purpose.
2. At the recent climate I think 2 weeks waiting time should be sufficiant.
3. Flexi addy for both, also for fixing the matting.

You get what you pay for.
