Default Concrete floor

Hello everyone,

I have a concrete floor to tile for a friend but when i have looked at it, it has a crack in the concrete about a metre long. Would it be ok to tile to or would i have to try and sort it out? If so how would i do that?
Also when the new bathroom went in he said the place was flooded. this was about 4days ago. It still looks dampish so how long would you leave it before tiling?
Im just laying ceramic floor tiles so would normal rapid set be ok or would i have to go flexi?
Thanks for the info people.
