Hi Phil,

I came accross something similar on my last job. I ended up completely removing the inner skin of plasterboard, cutting out some of the egg box, fixing internal stud framework and re-boarding with Aquapanel and plasterboard. Not an easy job as it was most of the walls in the bathroom but it did mean that I had perfect walls for tiling on to.
