Default Re: wot do u guys charge a sq metre?

i believe meter prices should be left for commercial and site work with no obstructions BUT if you have a clear run ie floors etc then a meter price can be advantageous.

£15m2 up to £25m2 seems to be the variable on ceramics and porcelain (low / high end)
£25m2 up to £40m2 seems to be the variable on natural stone..

day rates go from around £80 per day upto around £150 - £200 max...this london nonsense is a load of rubbish, they arnt getting £300 a day, its a myth..the only way you make good money is to be quick and good at what you do. you can earn £3, 4, 5 hundred a day but it will be on metarage hits rather than straight ( i want x amount per da as my day rate)

find out you niche in the market, find out what your main cometetors are charging and then decide make a decision on your needs...remeber, that id you are hitting the budget end of the market then price matters greatly!!!! if you are hitting the high end, then quality and how professional you present your self will matter. dont think rich people are stupid and will pay silly money because you have a new van and web site. they didnt get rich by being stupid....explain what you will do confidentally, show them the benefits of your tiling and business and price accordingly..everything has its fair price.

how this helps you a bit
